Pokemon, Bringing Coffee

In the miniscule New Bark Town, Crystal, who is Professor Oak's apprentice, former Pokedex Holder, and would be acting as a representative while Professor Elm is on leave, was going running the laboratory like a military camp. She ran the lab with great efficiency and a firm voice, making her life easier when it came across duties of her own, such as researching Pokemon and organizing files. This caused her to gain a large amount of admiration and respect in the Pokemon Science Association.

Crystal barely had any time for herself after she gained the position as becoming an apprentice of the great Professor Oak, as grand as that title may be, so was the work load. Amazingly however, the Capturer managed to set almost everything in order with style and grace... almost everything.

Although Crystal may have done loads of paperwork for the Professor, her timing in getting into a relationship was godawful.

After the incident in Unova and finding Giovanni, Gold, the renowned Breeder and skirt chaser decided to settle down for a certain workaholic of a woman, Crystal. To the Pokedex Holders and Gold's surprise, Crystal agreed.

Since Crystal recently got into a relationship, it was harder for her to juggle between her love life and her work life... in the end however, she managed the impossible and juggled those two lives with just one hand in a matter of three months.

Eventually, the couple began to engage and indulge each other in sexual acts, their passion was as intense as a raging forest fire. The two were closer now more than ever, but like every raging flame, relationships that relies on passion does not last very long... however, their relationship does not run on passion,

One afternoon, Crystal was for once, exhausted at running the lab while Professor Elm was out on leave. Crystal was typing up five reports at once, trying to keep up with the recent mistakes some of the newer associates made on the report that Professor Oak sent her and because of that, she had to fix their mistakes.

She groaned in frustration as she felt sleep coming upon her, "Dammit all, will this day ever end?" She simply muttered to herself as she found her head lowering on top of her keyboard.

"You know, Crystal, why don't you take a vacation?" One of the scientists suggested, he was one of the first people that started the laboratory with Professor Elm, "As a matter of fact, I don't remember you taking any holidays ever since you came here..."

Crystal's head immediately shot up, "I'm fine- I'm fine, don't worry I can handle it-!"

"Geez super serious gal," A very familiar and flirtatious voice called her out, "You should really lay back once in a while."

Crystal rolled her eyes and looked at the source of the voice, "Gold, I really do wish you'd stop calling me that, we've known each other for how long, six years?" She tried to keep her serious face on, but couldn't help but soften her gaze, looking at the boy she once fell for turned into a more attractive version of his younger self.

"Sorry, but I just cant do that when you and I both know that it's true," Gold chuckled and began to walk closer to Crystal with a look which means 'You owe me after this.'  

Immediately, Crystal's back straightened and immediately cut to the point, "What?"

With a sincere smile, Gold placed a cup of fresh coffee on her table, beside a safe distance between the computer monitor and keyboard, "Look, you've got bags under your eyes... you could use a rest."

"I know, I know" She admitted, she then held the coffee with both of her hands and took a small sip of it. Crystal then cracked a smile because Gold got her exactly what she wanted and needed...

The Breeder then pressed his lips at the side of Crystal's head, "Just come back home early, alright? It's getting pretty boring on annoying Silver or staying alone at the house." Then, without another word, he walked out of the lab while he gave the Capturer one last look and wave.

After a few minutes, Crystal smiled and called out to one of her colleagues, "Hey, you guys mind if I leave early tonight?"

Obviously, they didn't.
